Arad LeHai does incredible work rescuing and helping stray dogs, puppies, cats and kittens. They do not have a physical shelter. They depend on volunteers and your donations to continue saving lives. They also need large amounts of food, to feed the dogs & cats in the Negev desert. They speak English, if you have questions.

Starting Over Sanctuary 

After years of abuse and hard labor, Starting Over has rescued and rehabilitated thousands of donkeys, giving them a life of freedom, peace, and safety. Visit their website to Learn more and help their project; to bring the rescued donkeys to safe sanctuaries in Europe.

Rehovot Sanctuary

Yossi's Sanctuary is located near Rehovot. They rescues many animals; goats, horses, donkeys, hamsters, rabbits, chickens, parrots, and dogs. There are huge expenses to run this sanctuary.

Adopt a dog

​Nonprofit rescues like Friend (Haver) for Dogs, do amazing work; they rescue hundreds of dogs each year from dog pounds & from the streets. The goal is to find homes for the beautiful dogs. Please consider adopting a dog and support this organization. They also need volunteers on adoption days. The information on this page is currently in Hebrew.
